Rectangle- 4 right angles

- Diagonals are congruent
- Also a Parallelogram (has all of the properties of a parallelogram, including the definition)

Rhombus- 4 congruent sides

- Diagonals bisect opposite angles
- Diagonals are perpendicular
- Also a Parallelogram (has all of the properties of a parallelogram, including the definition)

Square- 4 right angles *and* 4 congruent sides (combo of Rectangle and Rhombus)

- Has all of the properties listed above (Parallelogram, Rectangle and Rhombus)

Trapezoid- One pair of parallel sides

- Two pairs of consecutive angles are supplementary

Isosceles Trapezoid- Trapezoid where the pair of sides that *are not *parallel, *are congruent*.

- Diagonals are congruent
- Two pairs of congruent consecutive angles

Kite- Two pairs of congruent consecutive sides

- Diagonals are perpendicular
- One diagonal bisects the other
- One diagonal bisects one pair of opposite angles
- One pair of opposite angles are congruent.
