6/20 Lesson Overview

Rational expressions: Factor everything and cancel what you can. Be careful not to cancel over addition. For division, just turn it into a multiplication problem. For adding and subtracting make sure you have common denominators. If one denominator doesn’t have a term that another one has, multiply both the numerator and denominator by what is missing.

Quadratics: Unless you’re using completing the square, make sure the equation is set equal to zero. Then either factor or use the quadratic formula.

Don’t forget to review your old quizzes and fix what’s wrong on them to prepare for the test tomorrow. Good luck!
